This little place is putting out some big flavors! Understated yet elegant decor and impeccable service made my experience there one to remember! Little touches like me leaving my napkin on my chair to go to the restroom and returning to the table to find it neatly folded makes an impression. I do it on purpose to see if they will do that, and they do. It was a fine dinning experience yet comfortable and relaxed.
I’m definitely returning to try the pizza out of that oven!
We started with zucchini fritti which was great for sharing! Lightly battered and perfectly seasoned!
I am usually not a fan of bruschetta. I suppose I’ve had some bad experiences with that dish. This turned me around after one bite! The bruschetta was so fresh and the ricotta and honey made for a delightful bite!
Rigatoni “crazy bastard” style with tomato, nduja sausage (spicy spreadable Italian sausage), soppresatta (dry Italian sausage), and ricotta. It looks simple but the flavors were well developed and complex!
Linguine with poached lobster, capers, tomatoes and thinly sliced garlic. Oh my! Just looking at it makes my mouth water! The poached lobster was sweet and tender. I can eat capers out of the jar so when I see them included in a dish my heart sings. I love the little briny and salty flavors of them in pasta.
My husband can’t pass up lamb, ever, even in an Italian restaurant. He also can’t resist gnawing on the bones which I’m used to but I cringe just a little inside. Don’t misunderstand, I love gnawing them too, but at home! They did add “herby greens” to give it an Italian flare.
