Southern food is humble, rib sticking, and comforting. Our passion for shrimp and grits, macaroni and cheese, and fried anything is ingrained in the southern soul. Eli’s Table takes our traditional southern cuisine and refines it.
After a long week of rain I headed out with my daughter Ashley and her fur baby Sadie to have a dog-friendly patio lunch and enjoy the fresh air.
The lunch menu is very suitable for various tastes and makes Eli’s an easy pick for a group.
Patio Decor is full of greenery and relaxing.
Let me introduce you to Sadie. She was a rescue and my daughter loves taking her everywhere! You will see her crop up in my posts from time to time because we seek out dog friendly places when the weather is nice.
I’ve been going through a crab cake faze lately and this version is one of the best ones I have found. The corn relish added a tad of sweetness and texture. The remoulade sauce was amazing! The crab cakes were perfectly seared, light and delicate. The peppery arugula balanced out the dish. All the components in one mouthful made for a perfect bite!
The BLT with romaine, mayo, avocado, roma tomatoes, cheddar and cherrywood bacon! So technically it wasn’t exactly a BLT but as I said in the beginning, they take southern classics and add special touches. So good!
Our lunch was amazing and I have Eli’s Table on my to-do list for dinner.
