Rue De Jean
39 John Street, Charleston, S.C., 29403
This french restaurant has been a main staple in the food scene for a very long time. That is a true feat with all the new places opening in Charleston! The dinning area is charming and romantic. The outside dinning area is perfect for beautiful days and it is dog friendly! It is covered with a red canopy so if you notice my photos look a bit pink, that is why!
The outside dinning area is located on the beautiful Hutson Alley.
Plump and perfectly cooked with your choice of sauce! Make sure to ask for bread because you will definitely want to sop up the sauce!
I know, it is cliche, but I just can’t resist their french onion soup! It is so hearty that it is a full meal. The broth is amazing and who doesn’t love plentiful gooey cheese!
A delightful bite!
Beet cured salmon! It was one of the most colorful dishes I have ever seen and packed with flavor! Capers added a wonderful briny flavor that paired very well with the fish. Great tasting and looking dish!
This is Sadie Mae, my daughter’s rescue dog. They welcomed her and brought her a bowl of water to cool off while we dinned.
